A safe space for the Christian journey

Nuach LevamenRest for the journey.Relief for the burden.

A judgment-free community where Christians, wherever they are on their journey, find a safe space to be honest, be heard, and be at rest in the presence of others who understand.

Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

The name

Two ancient languages, one truth

Nuach Levamen brings together Hebrew and Latin to say a single thing: that in Christ, weary souls find rest, and burdened hearts find relief.

Nuach

נוּחַ

Hebrew to rest, to settle, to be at peace

It shares its root with the name Noah, whose ark carried a weary world through the storm into rest. Nuach speaks to stillness after struggle — the safety of finally being able to exhale.

Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

Levamen

Latin relief, comfort, a lightening of a burden

It echoes the call of Scripture to carry one another’s weight — not to carry it alone.

Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2

Together, Nuach Levamen means a resting place where burdens are lightened — a community where no one has to carry what they carry alone.

Every month

Wide space to be heard, then a gathering-in

Each month follows a four-week rhythm, moving from open conversation to focused reflection. It is the shape the mark draws.

The mark is this list drawn. Each arc is a stage, and it becomes clearer as it gathers in.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    Open Forum

Topics are open. The community brings forward whatever is on their hearts — struggles, doubts, questions, joys — and nothing has to be resolved yet.

  2. Week 3

    Narrowing

Discussion is refined down to three topics, drawn from what resonated most in the open forum.

  3. Week 4

    Final Topic

The community lands on one topic for deep, focused reflection to close out the month.

  4. Rest

The month closes where the name points: a burden carried together, a topic seen through, and somewhere to set it down before the next one opens.

Right now

We are in Open Forum

Topics are open. The month has not yet narrowed to one, which makes this the easiest week to arrive in — nothing has been decided that you were not part of deciding.

  4. Rest

The date for the next edition is being set. Join now and you will be told it before it is announced anywhere else.

The wall

What we need rest from

The sticky-note wall from the launch, kept. People put up one word for what they need rest from, anonymously, and it stays.

The wall is still blank. The first word on it can be yours.

You do not need to arrive with anything sorted out

Leave your details and someone will be in touch before the next edition opens. Or read for a month first and join when you are ready — no one here is counting.
